Bitcoin & Market Snapshot

Bitcoin opened March around $65,000–$69,000, caught a solid recovery wave, and briefly punched toward the $73,000–$75,000 zone mid-month (hitting ~$75,900 on March 17 before pulling back). It consolidated in the $69k–$71k range for a stretch, then faced late-month pressure from options expiry + macro noise, closing the month near $66,500. Month-over-month: roughly –4% a classic “sell-the-news” dip despite what might be the strongest regulatory tailwinds crypto has ever seen.

• ETH: Traded in the $2,000–$2,200 range, showing some resilience but still feeling the macro weight.

• Total Crypto Market Cap: Hovering around $2.4–$2.5T—holding support while traditional markets (S&P, gold) took bigger hits this month.

Key takeaways- BTC showed relative strength and early signs of decoupling from risk assets during geopolitical stress. We’ve heard this song before, its called “smart money accumulates while retail sentiment crosses in to Extreme Fear territory.”

The volatility is real, but the longer price holds $60k, the stronger support becomes. Stackers who stay calm could be perfectly positioned for the next leg up.

Regulatory Green Light

March 27 was historic: SEC delivered final decisions on 91 ETF applications covering everything from XRP and SOL to LTC and DOGE. Earlier in the month, 16 major assets were formally classified as digital commodities. Long-term this could massively bullish for market structure and institutional adoption. Short-term? More dumping of course! Leveraged longs got wrecked and options expiry ($13.5–$14B on Deribit) pinned price action. The real impact will show in the coming quarters.

Final Thoughts

March reminded us why we do this: short-term noise, long-term conviction. Regulatory changes are locked in, institutions are still accumulating, and the infrastructure is getting stronger every month.

TX2K26 Recap – The Super Bowl of Street Car Racing Delivered Pure Chaos

March 17–22, 2026 at Texas Motorplex went down as one of the wildest TX2K events yet, with the 27th annual gathering pulling together the world’s quickest street cars for nonstop roll racing and drag racing insanity. Standout moments included Brett LaSala’s Coyote-powered “Snot Rocket” Mustang ripping a historic 5.879-second pass at 242.76 mph—the quickest and fastest 275-tire run in TX2K history—to claim his fourth straight win in the 2JZ vs. The World class and pocket serious bounty money.

Other champions included Mark Blackwell dominating the Elite 8 (the world’s fastest roll racing class) in his Underground Racing Lamborghini on street tires, Luke Carlile taking Unlimited roll racing in his AMS Performance ALPHA 28 Audi R8 with a 210 mph final-round pass, and Cleetus McFarland scoring a big win in the Street Car class with Ruby.

The pits were packed, records fell, and the high-speed drama was nonstop. Even though we couldn’t make the trip down south this year, watching the action from afar fired us up even more about racing starting to fire up in the Midwest US. Events like TX2K remind us the overlap between crypto freedom believers and car guys who love going fast is only getting bigger.
