What’s up, STAXX fam!
September did a thing. Bitcoin closed the month higher, spot ETF money came back in size, and the racing world put a half-million-dollar weekend on the line at World Wide Technology Raceway while Edelbrock Sick 66 sent 200 street cars down Route 66 for the highway’s 100th birthday. Stackers got a better month. Racers got a loud one. Here’s the recap.
Bitcoin & Crypto Market Snapshot
Bitcoin opened September near $78,600 and closed September 30 around $83,550, up roughly 6.3% to 6.4% for the month.

The path was not a straight line. The month’s low printed near $74,900 on September 15, the day the CLARITY Act failed its Senate cloture vote. The high was about $87,350 on September 21, the best daily close since late January, before price stalled under the yearly open near $87,700 and finished the month around $83k.

Broader Market:
Broader tape on the September 30 snapshot:

| Asset | End of September | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | ~$83,550 | +6.3% on the month; dominance ~58.7% |
| Ethereum | ~$2,684 | Market cap ~$328B; dominance ~11.5% |
| Solana | ~$118 | Quiet relative to BTC |
| XRP | ~$1.49 | Still well off cycle highs |
| BNB | ~$768 | Held a top-five seat |
| Total crypto market cap | ~$2.86 trillion | Fear & Greed at 67, greed but not euphoria |

Major Crypto News & Events
ETF bid returned, then cooled. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs took in about $2.4 billion in the week ending September 25, the largest weekly inflow since the week of October 10, 2025, and enough to flip 2026 net flows positive after they sat roughly $5.7 billion in the red in mid-July. September 21 alone drew nearly $1 billion, the biggest single-day inflow in almost a year. A nine-session inflow streak totaled about $3.1 billion. By September 28 that daily number had faded to about $31 million. Demand showed up. It did not stay wide open.
Macro pushed back. The Federal Reserve hiked 25 basis points on September 16, to a 3.75%–4.00% target range, its first hike since 2023. The 10-year Treasury yield pushed up toward levels not seen since 2007. Bitcoin dipped under $75,000 on the CLARITY miss and the hike, then squeezed back through $84,000 on September 21 and liquidated an estimated $252 million in shorts on the way.
Policy is unfinished business. The Senate’s Digital Asset Market Clarity Act failed cloture 49–50 on September 15. It is not dead. A motion to reconsider is attached, and the SEC’s Regulation Crypto Assets framework stays open for comment through October 20. That comment window is the cleanest near-term policy date on the calendar.
Levels that matter into October. Support that defined the late-month range sits near $81,300. Overhead, the yearly open around $87,700 is still untested. A sustained push through the mid-$80,000s is what would put a seasonal October on the table. October has historically been one of Bitcoin’s stronger months. Seasonality is not a bid. Spot demand is.

STAXX RACING SPOTLIGHT – Midwest Action Million at WWT and Sick 66
The back half of September is where the money and the miles were.
The 31st Annual Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels Million Dollar Drag Race ran September 22–26 at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois. Bracket racing’s big money fall checkbook did not disappoint.
- Tuesday, TBM Brakes $25K: Eric Willenborg took the win over Heath Davis in an all-door-car final. First Million event win for Willenborg, out of a 548-car Tuesday field.
- Wednesday, Summit $50K: Dylan Rallinson in the American Race Cars dragster beat Hunter Whitehead after Whitehead went red in the final.
- Thursday, Summit $50K: Cooper Chun, driving Dylan Guy’s dragster, beat Rocky McLain in an all-dragster final. Second Million-week win for Chun. The young guns owned Tuesday through Thursday.
- Friday, the Million: Cory Gulitti closed eight years of unfinished business and beat two-time NHRA world champion Lee Zane, who was making his first Million appearance. The Friday field was 475 cars with $600,000 on the line. Gulitti’s line afterward was the whole sport in six words: “Somehow, someway, I did it.”
- Saturday, Summit $50K: Jason Grams beat Dan Smith in an all-door-car final for his first big-money win, at his home track.
Edelbrock Sick 66 picked up the baton on September 26 and runs through October 3. Two hundred of the country’s quickest street cars are racing and road-tripping the 100th anniversary of Route 66: six drag days, more than 1,400 highway miles, east from Joplin toward Joliet and back west. Mo-Kan Dragway, Bonne Terre Drag Strip, and Midstate Dragway each show up twice. Lowest average elapsed time for the week wins. Some drive days clear 300 miles. As this letter goes out, the field is still on the Mother Road, heading into the finish. That is the Sour kind of event. You do not just make the pass. You drive the car home, then do it again the next day!

Staxx Tip of the Month
September rewarded the people who were already stacking, not the people who chased the September 21 squeeze. ETF inflows did the heavy lifting, leverage got washed out on the way up, and the Fed hike plus a failed Senate vote did not kill the trend. The month finished with a healthier tape than previous, and it is not a finished one.
Into October, the plan does not change. Respect $80k on the downside and the mid-$80ks on the upside. Do not confuse a green September with a new all-time high. Dollar-cost average is a proven strategy. The comment window on Regulation Crypto Assets closes October 20. Read it if you hold because policy is part of the position now.
Stack sats, stay humble, and keep building.
